The same event needs registration ambience at 8am and a genuine reception set at 7pm. Booking one DJ across both is cheaper than two and reads as one coherent event.

Conference DJ FAQ
Yes, and that is normal here. Most Tysons, Reston, and Downtown DC conference venues have an in-house or preferred AV vendor controlling the house system. Your DJ patches in and takes cues from the AV lead. Say who the vendor is in the brief so it is sorted before the day.
Yes. Give them the run of show and the speaker list and they will build walk-ons per person, hold the transitions, and cut cleanly when the mic goes live. This is the most common thing conference clients underuse.
Yes, and a multi-day booking is usually better value per day. One DJ across the whole programme learns your audience by day two and the event sounds like one thing instead of three.
