How this roster
gets vetted.

Everything on this page can be checked. Where we have nothing to show yet, the section says so rather than filling itself with something that reads well.

What we hold to

01

No open sign-up

A DJ cannot add themselves. Every page is either claimed by the DJ it already describes, or requested and approved by an operator. The roster’s only real asset is that everyone on it is a working DJ, and an open form destroys that in a week.

02

Claims are proved by inbox

When a DJ claims an imported page, the confirmation link goes to the address already on that page’s record, not to the address typed into the form. Controlling that inbox is the proof.

03

You book the DJ, not us

Your brief lands in the DJ’s own inbox and you agree the fee with them directly. No commission is taken and nothing is marked up, so nobody here has a reason to steer you toward a more expensive booking.

04

Rates come from the DJ

Every published rate on this site was set by the DJ who has to honour it. Where a profile shows no rate, it is because that DJ has not set one, not because it is being withheld until you enquire.

05

One market only

Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, and nowhere else. A directory that covers everywhere knows nowhere, and the DJs here are booked in these rooms often enough to know the load-in and the curfew before you mention them.

06

We say what we do not do

This is DJ booking. Not photography, not planning, not live bands. The service list is the work actually taken, so a lead never arrives for something that has to be turned down.

Check us yourself

The name, the phone and the areas served are the same on this site, in the page markup and on the Google listing. That is the point of repeating them: three sources saying one thing is what makes any of it checkable. If they ever disagree, the listing wins.

What to expect

  • Your brief goes to the DJ, not to a sales queue.
  • You agree the fee with the DJ and pay them directly.
  • Most DJs reply within a day; some take longer in festival season.
  • A DJ who cannot do your date will say so rather than hold it.
  • Gear is listed per profile, so you know what you do not have to rent.
  • Nothing is charged on this site. There is no card field anywhere.

What clients say

Nothing here yet. Client quotes go on this page when real ones exist, and an empty section is better than a testimonial nobody said.
