Homecoming Crowds
Are Different
Culture First
HBCU homecomings and alumni weekends run on specific energy, Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, and the school classics. The DJ needs to know the culture, not just the playlist.
Multi-Generational
Current students, recent grads, and alumni from the '80s all in the same room. The DJ plays across decades without losing anyone.
Multiple Events
One weekend, five events. Tailgate energy is different from the step show after-party which is different from the alumni brunch. The DJ adapts to each.
School Pride
The fight song, the chants, the traditions. The DJ knows when to drop them and how to weave them into the set without it feeling forced.
